Kim Langmaid, CCC Fellow from Cohort 4, has been leading a collaborative effort in Vail, CO for the past five years that recently reached a notable milestone in the realm of sustainable ecotourism. Thanks the the collaboration between Kim’s Walking Mountains Science Center, the Town of Vail, Sustainable Travel International, Vail Resorts, The U.S. Forest Service, and others Vail was officially certified as a sustainable mountain resort destination.
