Fellows Policy Series – Wolf Reintroduction

Photo by CCC Fellow Matt Collins

For those who have been following Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s process to reintroduce wolves into Colorado and CCC’s involvement in finding common ground and a collaborative path forward:

The CCC Fellows have completed their science-based projects, using collaboration, to address conservation and livelihood issues related to the potential need for wolf management in Colorado. Our Fellows developed a series of two-page policy briefs on their research findings on policy and practice for wolf reintroduction in Colorado.

This series covers policy lessons, reducing livestock-carnivore conflict, conflict resolution, and wolf depredation compensations.

You can now view the Policy Series and learn more about our Cohort 10 Fellows here.

For more information on wolf reintroduction in Colorado and how you can engage, visit Colorado’s Wolf Restoration and Management Plan Public Engagement Website https://www.wolfengagementco.org/
