DESCRIPTION:The Selective Science Communications Workshop Series is back!\nIn the Colorado Forest Collaborative Network’s 2025 interactive peer-learning series, our goals are to 1) create a ‘safe space’ specifically for collaborative communicators to work through real challenges and opportunities together; and 2) create a communications toolkit that science communicators across Colorado can utilize. This series is specifically designed for those who serve as communicators for one of Colorado’s place-based forest collaboratives. Participants will… \n\n\n\n\n\nCritically evaluate existing communication and outreach materials, and give/receive meaningful, actionable feedback. \n\n\n\n\nPractice having difficult conversations. \n\n\n\n\nShare & discuss real-life stories of successes and failures with other communicators so that we can learn from one another. \n\n\n\n\nCo-develop a Selective Science Communications Toolkit for communicators across Colorado to use. \n\n\n\n\n\nThe series will feature three Co-Learning Workshop sessions paired with three optional Crafting Sessions and will last from April through June 2025. \nThe Selective Science Communications Workshop Series is NOT webinars!
