June Storyteller’s Circle Workshop
As conservation communicators, we face a daunting task: telling compelling stories to encourage actions that will “save the world.” But how often do we make space for developing our craft in order to do these stories justice?
Enter the Storyteller’s Circle. This (free!) virtual event alternates between topic-based discussions led by other communications professionals as well as pper support for your own storytelling projects. This event is hosted by the Intermountain West Joint Venture and Crowd Conservation to be a space where storytellers and communicators throughout the conservation realm can come together to hone their craft.
June’s edition: asking scientists the right questions.
On June 26th, 3-4 pm, Jaime Jacobsen, the director of the Colorado State University Center for Science Communications will join us to workshop how to ask the right questions of your staff and scientists to draw out their stories.
