WCCN All-Partners Webinar: Upper Willamette Stewardship Network’s “A Collaborative Framework for Tribal Partnerships & Decolonization”

WCCN All-Partners Webinar: Upper Willamette Stewardship Network’s “A Collaborative Framework for Tribal Partnerships

The Upper Willamette Stewardship Network has worked with local Native and Tribal partners to develop a framework for indigenous engagement and decolonization. This session will focus on best practices and case studies on how we have developed programs, partnerships, and funding models for a more inclusive approach to restoration and conservation. We will engage with participants to understand existing challenges and successes and then present our framework for Tribal Partnership and Decolonization in a collaborative Network structure, building from Dr. Deana Dartt’s Theory of Applied Decolonization. We will provide key lessons learned and recommendations for operationalizing commitments to maintaining strong and meaningful partnerships with Native and Tribal partners.
